Good afternoon, I'm coming to the end of my free trial and would like to use Sierra Charts...for the charts! I would still manually go through Interactive Brokers to pass my orders. Q1: From what I've read, it's better to use your data then try to take the one from IB and bring it on Sierra. Is that correct? I'm mostly daytrading Options on SPX and big price stocks (AMZN, GOOGL,PCLN,etc.). Here is what I understand I will need, correct me if I'm wrong: 1- Package 3 (24$/mth) 2- For $SPX 2a. Data Feed for SPX - For 20 Real-Time symbols (*Cash* Indices Only): 1st connection 15 USD/month 2b. Exchange for SPX - CBOE Indices: Price 3.25 USD/month 3- For $COMP (I like it as a reference) 3a. Same as 2a (no extra fee) 3b. Dow Jones Indices: Price 3.25 USD/month. 4- For 10 stocks (AMZN, GOOGL, PCLN, etc) 4a. For 10 Real-Time Symbols: 1st connection 25 USD/month 4b. U.S. Equities (NYSE, NASDAQ, AMEX, BATS): Price 10.5 USD/month Q2: I believe I would only use the drawing tools, Package 3 should be ok? Yes.Your understanding of pricing is correct, except for the real-time data feed connection itself. You need to use the 100 symbols level that includes support for all markets and not just cash indices. It is 35 USD per month. You just need the standard Sierra Chart service package.
