SC Support, Engineering Team: I wanted once to express my appreciation for you incorporating the no-gap, open=close range bars into Sierra Chart. It works exceptionally well! I was wondering, though, if you might be able to take it a step further. Sometimes I need to change the range on the fly--say a five tick range to an eight tick range or to a 13 tick range. I currently have buttons on my "ToolBar1" with specific range numbers and they do work for the type of range bars you had previous to the addition of the open=close range bars. Would you be able to add this option so it works with the buttons? (Set up under "Global Settings > Customize ToolBars > ToolBar 1"; then click "Set Period..." to select "Bar Period Type" and "Bar Period Value". ) It seems this new range type (open=close) needs to be added to "Bar Period Type" in order to be able to turn it into a button. I hope this makes sense. Thank you for your consideration, Dan V |

This is already there. When setting the period for a custom period button, it is the last option under "Bar Period Type": ("Range Per Bar-Open=Close (in ticks)"
