HELLO I'M TRYING TO USE THE STUDY /PRICE OVERLAY STUDY IN A TRADING SYSTEM BUT I HAVE SOME PROBLEMS WHEN I TEST IT. MY DESTINATION CHART IS A 1 MINUTE CHART AND THE SOURCE CHART IS A 5 MINUTES CHART , SO MY TRADING SYSTEM IS APPLIED TO THE 1 MINUTE CHART BUT USING THE OVERLAY CHART OF 5 MINUTES. SO MY TRADING SYSTEM WILL SEND AN ORDER WHEN SOME CONDITIONS ARE MET IN THE 1 MINUTE CHART, AND ALSO WHEN IN THE FIVE MINUTE CHART THE LAST BAR WAS HIGHER THAT THE PREVIOUS BAR (IN THE 5 MINUTES CHART). I ALREADY PROGRAMMED IT THE PROBLEM IS THAT WHEN DOING BACKTESTING THE SYSTEM ONLY SENDS ORDERS WHEN THERE IS A BAR IN THE 1 MINUTE CHART AND IN THE 5 MINUTE CHART AT THE SAME TIME , SO IT WILL ONLY SEND AN ORDER IN THE FIVE MINUTES SCALE OF TIME SO FOR EXAMPLE IF THE CONTITIONS ARE MET IT WILL SEND AN ORDER AT 10:15 AND THE NEXT ORDER WILL BE SENT AT 10:20 , BUT FOR EXAMPLE AT 10:17 EVEN IF THE CONDITIONS ARE MET (THAT THE LAST BAR IN THE 5 MNUTE CHART IS HIGHER THAN THE PREVIOUS IN THE 5 MINUTE CHART) IT WONT SEND AN ORDER (EVEN KNOWING THAT IT IS APPLIED TO THE 1 MINUTE CHART). COULD YOU GIVE ME SOME HELP WITH THIS PLEASE THANK YOU VERY MUCH |
