chart window wont let me close my position in IB

entered 3 trades today and the sc chart window dd not achknowlege fill when i tried to flatten the orders were never transmitted to ib therefore taken much larger loss then i had anticipated had to check the ib window to ensure tht my tares were closed (which they were not) so had to close thru ib the sc trade window showed no posits on or a p&l WTF is goin on?
