This is typically called a Vegas Tunnel. It's very simple. Center line plot of an ema. Band plots plus and minus from the ema at 4 different variable input number levels * tick size. Ability to change colors and styles etc. If there is not one, it would be great if someone with skills could code it. I can provide the NinjaTrader version or just a simple text example.

The Bollinger Bands study does this, although there are only 2 bands (not 4) and they are defined by the number of standard deviations away from the middle band. Refer to the information here: Bollinger Bands You can always use the Arithmetic Studies to create bands above and below based on a set number of ticks. Doesn't sound like the classic Vegas Tunnel, according to this pdf: http://dl.fxf1.com/files/books/english/THE%201HR%20TUNNEL%20METHOD.pdf |

We are not going to read through that to figure out how it works. You can check the various studies we have available to see if one matches the math for what you are looking for. All our studies show the math behind how they work. You can view the list of available studies at the following link: Technical Studies Reference For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
