There appears to be a documentation discrepancy with regard to order quantity sent on true signal from the spreadsheet. I was having trouble during testing when i tried to increase the number of contracts in the trade window from 1 to 2. I found this documentation: "Set the cell J26 ( Order Quantity) to the number of shares or contracts you want to trade when an order is sent. This can also be set to 0 and the Order Quantity will be determined from the chart Trade Window." I set J26 to Zero but had the same issue (Target/Stops NoMatch) When you click on then link within the description i've posted above you find documentation that says if J26 is set to 1 or 0, 1 contract will be sent. So setting J26 to 0 apparently sends 1 contract, as opposed to whatever is stored in the trade window. If I have this wrong please let me know. |

Your understanding is correct. Using 0 will not use the Trade Window quantity. That was in the past and is no longer the case. We will correct the documentation. Thank you for pointing that out. We will have to verify this but if 0 is being changed 1 contract, then that would make sense. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
