Hello and sorry for the trivial question, but you state on this page: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/helpdetails38.html If Timestamp Using Local Computer Clock is set to Yes/True, then your computer's clock will be used for real-time received data. One is not necessarily better than the other. If you maintain a very accurate computer clock, then typically it is better to use your local computer clock.
I've looked thoroughly and have been unable to find an answer as to why exactly it is 'typically better' to use the local computer clock. Mine is extremely accurate btw, using meinberg ntp. Thank you in advance. |
