My relative volume study is showing inaccurate data from what I can see. When I first put it on the chart it looked accurate, now it's showing almost every 30 min bar at 200% and higher with a lot of the bars at 400%. This is obviously inaccurate. Please take a look at the settings and let me know. Thanks.

There are two problems here. Refer to: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/StudiesReference.php&ID=356#s356_ContinuousFuturesContractCharts You need to set the chart to a Continuous Futures Contract chart. And also read the description for the Period - Days to Include Input here: Relative Volume Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. I used Continuous Futures Contract- Date Rule Rollover for the ES. Is that setting sufficient for Crude and Gold or should I use something else?

Refer to: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/ContinuousFuturesContractCharts.html#UsingDateRuleVolumeBasedRollover For commodities like gold and crude oil, you should use a volume-based rollover.
