I have this formula that does what I expect and seems to work properly:
=AVERAGE(INDEX(E:E,ROW()+L3), INDEX(E:E,ROW()+L3*2), INDEX(E:E,ROW()+L3*3), INDEX(E:E,ROW()+L3*4), INDEX(E:E,ROW()+L3*5))

After restarting Sierra Chart, the formula changes to this and all values show as #NUM! until I change it back to the above correct formula:

=AVERAGE(INDEX(E@$1:E@$999999,ROW()+L3), INDEX(E@$1:E@$999999,ROW()+L3*2), INDEX(E@$1:E@$999999,ROW()+L3*3), INDEX(E@$1:E@$999999,ROW()+L3*4), INDEX(E@$1:E@$999999,ROW()+L3*5))

I have not been able to reproduce this issue on a blank spreadsheet. Everything seems to be working as expected with the latest version of Sierra Chart. If you are still having an issue, please provide your spreadsheet, and let us know which cell you are setting to this formula, so that we can see what you're seeing.

I have attached the spreadsheet. Column M is the formula column. It is currently in the messed up state because I had to restart Sierra Chart

When I fixed it after restarting today, I noticed that the formula had completely changed to point to Q column instead of E column. The correct column is E as in my example in the first post. Sierra is definitely changing this on every restart

Thank you for providing the sheet and formula. These issues should be fixed in the next version (1549). Once you have updated, you will need to set the formula one more time, and then save the spreadsheet. After that point, the formula should remain stable.
