Hi Would it be difficult to add a drag&drop feature in the quoteboard as shown in the video in order to put a symbol any where very fast? if too complicated to implement, at least a keyboard shortcut cut&paste feature would be great. right now, I need to write the symbol, if I want to move up the symbol because I want to re-order several symbol in a priority order at the opening, I need to delete them and write them again to the new place which takes much time. thank you. |

Drag-and-drop is out of the question. Cutting and pasting is and always has been supported in all edit boxes related to the Quote Board where a symbol is entered. If you have a problem with this, clear any keyboard shortcuts you set up which are interfering with them: Global Settings Menu: Customize Keyboard Shortcuts (Global Settings menu) You simply should have no trouble with this whatsoever. The proper way to move symbols up-and-down is through Settings >> Set Symbols on the Quote Board: Getting Quotes: Setting Symbols You should also be aware for some users, that drag-and-drop functionality is something which is a nuisance and can and does cause very serious problems. This is especially true with touchscreens where accidental drag-and-drop operations can be so easily invoked. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. ok I ve just found out how to cut and paste. The things that I missed was to enter in the cell of the quote board and afterward make the cut&paste. Could it be easy for you to implement a shortcut to move up or down a symbol in the quoteboard? thank you |
