Hi, I've tweaked my system and finding I rely more on the need to have Daily and Intraday times having to match for Historical prices (i.e for instrument ^EURUSD). Does someone on Sierra have a configuration setup they are willing to share..? I've tried using -2 GMT but then run into having the Sunday Cradle and I'm not sure what exchange time the original Historical Prices are based on. Thanks for any help. Trint |

Do not use the Forex symbols with a ^ character. Use EURUSD instead. These symbols are 24 hours and start a new day at 17:00 US Eastern time. Thanks for that Sierra but I really rate the ^ instruments as its the same data used by Barchart and my system seems to accurately trade well with these. Although I haven't tested the non ^ symbols like EURUSD (and I'll backtest) is the data as high a quality, if not more so, than the ^ instruments. I think I read somewhere that you do use unfiltered data for various markets... CQG is another I like.

We do not know what is meant by "high quality" data for cash Forex markets. The symbols without the ^ characters are derived from FXCM data. I just find the ^ symbol data a lot 'cleaner'. See the attached as an example. Were you in discussions this year about bringing real-time LMAX data on board....for everyone and not just those with LMAX accounts |

The LMX data will come, but that may still be a few months away.
