I have done some rationalisation of my ACSIL custom study cpp files including deletions and changing names of the cpp files (deleted the obj, lib, exp files of the OLD names) am finding that the changes are not reflected in the >> studies >> Add Custom Study >> dll listing. Old dll's that I have deleted from SierraChart >> ACS_Source folder are still showing up in the listing and newly named cpp files that I have compiled are not having the new dll listed? How can I get the >> studies >> Add Custom Study : dialogue box to reflect the changes and only list the current dll's? An early reply will be apprecaited as I currently can't test my recent ACSIL builds.

The Add Custom Study window is based upon the DLLs in the Sierra Chart Data Files Folder.

If you are making changes outside of that folder, they will have no effect.

Thanks SC, for the benefit of users who read the board; don't forget to also change the "SCDLLName" at the top of the .cpp files which sets the name of the .dll file produced by the compiler and saved in the SC Data folder (specified under General Settings.) Regards.

That's confusing, if I delete a file from sierra built in custom study builder, it should also delete the dll, in addition to the cpp, and ask for a confirmation. How many users will delete the file, and be annoyed to find it is still showing as a a list of study when adding study....
