This morning I initiated a position and sold 4 contracts short on the F.US.EPH17 at 2373.00. I had 2 targets in place at 2 contracts each. The first one was at 2371.25 and got filled. The second target did not get hit but I flattened my position at 2370.50. My broker who is Stage 5 verified that these trades executed. This all happened at roughly 7:15am pacific time. What I noticed though was a lagging connection. Before I got filled I moved my stop and it read (pending order) for about 30 seconds before it showed as open. Usually this is always instant. Also when I went to flatten my position I got some sort of error message and got disconnected. On the log it says "An established connection was aborted by the software in your host machine." Lastly, on the trade activity log my orders show as 'Unmatched fill' even though Stage 5 confirms the orders. I've attached a screen shot of this. A copy of the log is below. Will these orders reflect on my balance? Please help me to identify what the problem is so that I can confidently execute my orders moving forward. Thank you. There is far too much information in the Message Log and it has been removed. It contains a lot of lines because you have enabled the Detailed Logging option for the Trade Management by Study study. Set that to No. Do not post another Message Log. We will not analyze it. What I noticed though was a lagging connection. This is simply due to a communication problem to the CQG server from your system. From our position we have no way to help with this other than to say there was a problem and there is no way for us to know exactly what the issue is.
