I've noticed even in previous versions that the "Horizontal Line in Time" Study does not work for the 9:30:00 bar in a study if it is the first bar (RTH) in the chart. This happens to be why I have so many Overlays creating lag, and they shouldn't be needed. For instance: I have an 1 second es RTH chart. I have an 1 second es All hours chart. I have a Ask/Bid Difference study on both. I use info from b4 market and during with these charts. I want the CLOSE (in horz. line form) of the 9:30:00 Ask/Bid Diff Study bar on my RTH es Chart. The "Horizontal Line in Time" study will not compute the 9:30:00 bar. Only 9:30:01 and after. I thought the work around for this I would use the OPEN of the 9:30:01 bar, but its not the same as the CLOSE of the 9:30:00 bar. This lead me to "Overlay" my "es All hours chart" 9:30:00 bar CLOSE (of the A/B Diff study) to my "es RTH chart", therefore causing unnecessary lag. The 9:30:00 Bar H/L/C should be computed immediately, so why does it not work for such a simple study? |
