Attempting to overlay bollinger band study on the CCI,
both based on price graph, in chart region 2.

If I put bb in chart region 3 and cci in chart region 2,
both studies are working in their respective study areas.

When I overlay either cci onto bb in chart region 3 or
overlay bb onto cci in chart region 2, both studies
are gone.

If I overlay bb on cci based on cci, it works fine,
both studies are there, but that's not what I'm trying to
do. I want to base both studies on main price graph.

Please advise.

You need to set the Bollinger Bands study to have a Scale Range of "Independent". Refer to:

Got both studies overlayed in chart region 2 by checking the box for
independent.

When left-clicking and holding on the vertical axis of chart to, for example, to resize the overlayed studies (or by holding ctrl and then moving the study in vertical axis of chart), only the CCI is either recenterd or
moves up and down (in chart region 2).

How can the overlayed studies move together?

If you put the 2 studies overlayed in region 2 on a 1 min chart of the FDAX, session time from 2300 to 0630 US pacific time, please look from the start of 3-3, 0001 Friday, then 0100 being the last minute bar visible on the chart.

CCI (default settings) never goes below the bottom band of the bollinger (default settings, middle line ignored). The bb band is at the bottom of chart region 2 and the CCI is above the bb bottom band the entire hour. This is how it appeared in real time data feed.

Scroll the 1 min bars forward 45 minutes and then look back at the overlayed studies. Now, the CCI pierces the lower bb 4 times from 0001 to 0100, at 0001, 0020, 0036 and 0058.

The piercing of the lower bb by the cci is a sell signal for this strategy. So, didn't get any sell signals in real time, but there were actually 4 looking back on the strategy less than an hour later.

How do I sync the 2 studies so that the signals are available in real time, not just when looking back less than an hour later?

Thanks in advance.

More simply put, if you look at the cci/bb overlay study in a chart that is minimized, that is not full screen, it looks one way.
Then, expand chart to full screen and the study changes (completely). It should, imo, just appear larger, but that's not the case.
The points where the cci intersects the bb are all different.

This is not supported since they have Independent scale ranges.

Regarding post #4 and post #5, since the two studies have Independent scale ranges, there is no correlation between the values of the Subgraphs at each chart bar. This is inherently unsupported.

We have no further comment on the above.

Also the proper way to express what you are describing is just to post an image of the chart following these instructions here:

One thing we will look into is the possibility of adjusting all studies within a chart region that have an Independent scale, when using Interactive Scale Range/Move.
