I am taking a free trial. Trying to see if I can plot cumulative delta for stocks. Delta data is not good, is it due to that fact that I don't have paid stock real time data for Sierra ? Please let me know if you get a good quality cumulative delta for stock with paid data ? Thanks a lot

Post an image of the chart showing the Cumulative Delta Bars-Volume study following these instructions: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=PostingInformation.php#Image And then provide an explanation as to why you think it is not good. There are three possibilities: What you see is correct. There is some settings problem. Or you have a misunderstanding. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Attached 5min PCLN stock chart from 2/10/17. I have pointed out the gap in delta after 13:50 candle. Also, delta did not really support the up move from 9:50 to 13:20. I am very much aware of different interpretation of Cumulative delta, just trying to make sure that if it is not plotting right due to delayed data. Thanks, |

The gaps that you see in the Cumulative Delta Bars are due to large volume trades. Those can be filtered out of the chart through the Volume Filter settings: Chart Settings: Volume Filter (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Data Limiting >> Volume Filter Settings menu) Filter trades greater than or equal to 1000 and this is what you will see: http://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=1486968511894.png Even without the filtering what you are seeing is totally correct. We observe the same thing. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. Try to keep your questions brief and to the point. You can use either of the 2 Sierra Chart Services Packages. If you want to use the very same data feed that the historical data uses you will need to activate and pay for the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed. Complete details are on this page: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/SierraChartRealTimeFuturesStockDataFeed.php And you will also need to pay for the US equities exchange fee. Here are the setup instructions for both TD Ameritrade and Interactive Brokers: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/AmeriTrade.php http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/InteractiveBrokers.php Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. SO, if I want to subscribe NYSE, AMEX and NASDAQ stocks thru Sierra Chart, do I need to select "For 100 Real-Time Symbols: 1st connection 35 USD/month" in addition to those exchange fees ?

Yes. And there is only one exchange for these and it is 10.50 USD per month (US Equities).
