Hello, I'm trying to connect a client to his data connection using (Activate/Deactivate Exchange Data Feed Features and Exchanges). The client has click on all approvals needed for the connection with Bar Chart. When I go into Sierra Chart to connect to his data feed, I click on Bar Chart however he never received a Username and Password to connect with. Is that username and password the same as his Sierra username and password? I assume he will have to be approved with Bar Chart first before he is sent his username and password or is approval and verification done Real Time? Meaning he should have received a Username and Password for the Bar Chart Data connection. Thanks, Kris |

The Data Feeds accounts are linked to their Sierra Chart account. There is no separate username. So once the agreement has been signed and exchanges activated, they need to continue with step #12 here: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/SierraChartRealTimeFuturesStockDataFeed.php#SetupInstructions Sierra Chart Support Date Time Of Last Edit: 2017-02-08 00:25:59

Did you want the user to also use CTS?

Yes in this case you will want to set the Service in Sierra Chart to CTS. The appropriate setup instructions begin at step 14 here: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/CTS_T4.php#LowCostConnectionModel_Instructions Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
