Hello, While doing stock analysis, I would like to set the Tick Size and Price Display Format for one of my charts to a constant value, namely 0.1 instead of the default 0.01. I want it to be 0.1 for all symbols and to never change for this chart. The reason for this is because this chart is used to display a 4 hour volume profile numbers bar chart to give me an idea of where the volume nodes are. The problem with the default 0.01 tick size is that for most stocks the study needs to draw so many horizontal lines that the lines become so thin they actually disappear and can't be seen at all. I have 'Auto-Set from Data Feed' unchecked but the setting still resets every time I change the symbol. See example below: Default 0.01 tick size: http://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=148631246282.png same chart, 0.1 tick size: http://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=1486312510477.png Please advise, thanks! |

The only way to do this is to set these settings for the stock symbol patterns in the Global Symbol Settings: Global Symbol Settings Example pattern: ?? You could also add the symbol FB or whatever symbols to Global Symbol Settings and set the Tick Size and Price Display Format for those to what you require.
