we do alot of study study in our room and this is just a wasted option imho , we have been asking for button customization for long time now , so we took 10 people and we timed the entry compared to opening studies and it was 10x faster to just go into study and change a setting then type in in:id16.in4=50 (example) , why not have option to create buttons ? thank you

We need to update the documentation to explain what the purpose of this feature is. It is really meant as an interface for an external program to modify study Inputs. Tell us what exactly you need to do and we will see how to help with it. You can always create various Study Collection configurations containing the studies configured as you require and then assign Control Bar buttons to those and switch among those configurations very easily. ok that will be nice update , on the buttons ,this is my chartbook , i would just like to be able to build buttons that allow me to turn on and off a study or change study , so similar concept to discussion above but just in button customization im not a fan of RT investor at all , but this is amazing what you can do with this , https://www.linnsoft.com/videos/button-indicator-customizing-your-chart-toolbars |

What you will need to do is create separate Study Collections for each study configuration that you want on the chart: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/StudyCollections.html And then assign those Study Collections to Control Bar buttons: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/ControlBar.php#ControlBarStudyCollectionButtons Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Have a look at these two sections: Chart Studies: Hiding and Showing Study Directly from Chart Chart Studies: Quick Access to Study Settings It does not make any technical sense for us to offer anything better than this. We cannot provide any further help even for a substantial payment of thousands of USD which would be the minimum. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
