Can you help with this
Did you get anywhere with Sierra why the moving averages on their MACD study doesn't overlay on the histogram proportionally? Every other charting package does this normally. Can you ask please? I attached a picture of how it looks. If you shrink the scale down to see the mov avg the histogram is to small. Vice versa if you expand the histogram. Thoughts Sierra Chart Support |

We have no idea exactly what studies the user is using and how they have configured them. What they are seeing is based upon what they have created. They are certainly not just using a standard configured MACD study. Otherwise, they would never see a problem like this. We do not know what their objective is, but if they just want to see the standard MACD, then they should just use that study only in that Chart Region and remove all others. Otherwise, we will make an assumption that may be the problem is related to the Scale Settings. In which case, they should set the Scale Range for each of the studies in that Chart Region to Automatic: Chart Scale and Scale Adjusting: Opening the Scale Settings Window For a Study Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
