Hi

I have shifted my working base to a new place where there is a secured IT environment. All my datafeeds with SC are either not working or not properly updating the charts.
I am using:
1. Gain Capital/OEC which is not connecting
2. Global Data Feeds (India) which is not connecting
3. SC Data - All Services which is working partially but for few symbols. Also if it is working for few symbols, then intra-day charts are not getting updated.

I have been asked by my IT team to ask you about the ports which they need to allow the access. There could be front-end or back-end ports which you need to let us know.

Please keep this message confidential.

1. For this, these ports need to be open: 9400, 9301

2. For Global Data feeds, the port number is displayed in Global Settings >>Data/Trade Service Settings >> Service Settings >> Server. It is after the : character.

3. You also need to open ports 443, 80, 10149.

Is there any port related to Google Finance, as I would be using that too.

Wrt above query, except for 1st data feed i.e. Gain Capital/OEC everything working fine.

I had a word with Gain Capital/OEC. They gave me 2 other ports 9200 & 9201. I even tried them. But still its not connecting.
the have asked me to contact you if you have missed some ports from your end relating to SC.

Please help.

For Google you will need to use port 443 or 80.

Make sure both are allowed.

For Gain Capital the ports we gave are correct.

If there is a connection problem we need to see the Message Log:

We see the problem. We did not realize you are connecting to the Gain Capital simulation server. This requires port 9300:
GAIN Capital/OEC | Connecting to trading server sim.gainfutures.com. Port: 9300. | 2017-01-24 00:49:04
