Hi there, I am using Renko Bars (without wicks) with Donchian Channel as the studies. However, I noticed that the studies seems to be plotted based on Renko with wicks. How do I make the study plot against the Renko Bar (without wicks) instead ? I tried meddling around with the settings available but could not find any solution. |

Not sure how this can be done because the bar Open and Close can be reversed in relation to each other. Anyway, this would be the study that might potentially work because you can specify the Input data for high and low: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/TechnicalStudiesReference.html#s54 Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Hi, Thank you for the reply. I added the study of HighestHighLowestLow as you suggested. I realized that the study still plot based on Renko with wicks. Is there any other way that I can get around with this ? Thank you in advance ! :) |

We do not see how this can be done.

Okay one more thing I would like to ask, does sierra chart accumulates it's tick data ? Meaning....I am now seeing 30 days of TICK data on futures. Say tomorrow will be Day 31, the next day will be Day 32 and so on... Will I be able to see the tick data in a accumulative manner ? Meaning I see Day 0 to Day 31, Day 0 to Day 32, Day 0 to Day 33, Day 0 to Day 34 ? (ThinkOrSwim only shows the last 30 days of data. I do not want the historical data to be purged out of the chart) |

OK this is good you got the result you are looking for. Yes, the tick by tick data does accumulate but you can access more historical tick data by following the instructions here: Historical Intraday Data (Missing Data / Download Errors / Viewing More Data): Downloading/Viewing More Historical Intraday Data Tick by Tick Data Configuration Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
