Sir,

I would like to know ifthese code are correct as I do want to create an alert that triggers when the candle touch the bottom and/or the top bollinger band please ?

=CROSSOVER(SG1, C)
=CROSSOVER(SG3, C)

For a candle crossing a moving average curve, it would be ?

=CROSSOVER(SG1, C)

SG1 is the moving average and C ?

C is the asset value ?

Thanks for your precisions.

The best way to do this is to instead use the formula given in example number 34 here:
Study/Chart Alerts And Scanning: Alert Formula Examples

This is a new example we just added today.

C is the closing price of a chart bar. Refer to:

Sir,

Sir,

a Bollinger Band can be crossed from above and from below both at the top and bottom band.

To trigger an alert for each of these cases (4 in total), I should insert this code in 2 Color Bar Based on Alert Condition ?

If the BB are ID:8
Top Band: SG1
Bottom Band: SG3

Color Bar Based on Alert Condition n°1

=CROSSFROMBELOW(ID8.SG1,ID8.SG3)

Color Bar Based on Alert Condition n°2

=CROSSFROMABOVE(ID8.SG1,ID8.SG3)

This is just a request of confirmation.

Thanks a lot for your precisions !
