3 questions about Sierra Chart Data Indices please 1.) Many of my "Indexes" are stuck on Friday Jan 6th and not updating since then ($DOWC, $MMTW, $MAHN, etc.), but others are updating ($IUX, $NYA). I've tried closing SC & Reopening, Reloading charts, etc. which hasn't helped. 2.) I cannot get another ($VLG) to load at all. 3.) Can you also explain or point to documentation explaining how/when such indices update. The barchart indices such as $IUX & $IDX never match the barchart.com price. Is there a delay? Thank you |

The problem is your Sierra Chart account is not activated for any real-time cash indices. You can do that here: https://www.sierrachart.com/UserControlPanel.php?page=ExchangeDataFeedFeatures There is no real-time data available for $VLG. Only historical daily data. Thanks, I guess I assumed that these were indices included in the general SC Data package, since there does not seem to be an option for simply "Index" in the exchange fees section. So which package would I select to receive data for any of the symbols listed in the "Index" category of this list http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/SierraChart_RealTime_And_Historical_Symbols.php&SymbolsPage=Indices

Thank you. There must still be a problem with these symbols since I am still not loading any data since Friday. Any symbols in the SC Data "Index" category (Non-Real Time) are not loading, whether I am connected to SC Data or Interactive Brokers. Is there something that can be done to fix this? I use many of these indices on a daily basis.

Data for these symbols is only accessible when the Service in Sierra Chart is set to SC Data - All Services. Switch to that Service in Sierra Chart. Restart Sierra Chart and open charts for those symbols. If you have a problem with the historical data, then tell us one of the symbols and only one of the symbols, and tell us whether it is a Historical or Intraday chart.
