VS 1493

I have a 1 sec ES chart with the Daily OHLC study and it works fine.
I have another chart that I do the Study/Price Overlay of that study.

The prices only show whole numbers unlike the original 1 tick .25 increments on the original chart.

I've tried everything from changing the "SCALE" to "Independent" from "Automatic". No change.

I changed every combination on the inputs. All are "No" except for "Match Source bars to destination bars" which is "YES",(I even changed that) and No change.

I changed the "Value Format" from "Inherit" to .01, and it keeps going back to "Inherit" after apply.

This is a TICK chart but that shouldn't matter bc its a separate study based on the ES, so the increments should be the same.

?????

Destination chart is the first one. I put Yellow arrows showing the two different prices for the same study. Original Daily OHLC study is second image, Overlayed to the first chart.

As you can see the study shows 2151.25 as the LOD, but on the Overlayed first chart, its 2151.00. Only even numbers show up. I thought it would be an easy scale fix but nothing works. The actual High is 2155.00,so you won't see a diff on the High of the Overlayed chart. But when the high is (.25,.50.75) of a number, still a whole number shows up on the first Overlayed (TICK) chart.

You need to set the Value Format on the source Daily OHLC study to .01 instead of Inherited.

That did it Thx.
I would of thought the "Inherited" of tick size .25 on the source chart would've overlayed. But I guess not.
I thought that value would only come into play if in a different value scenario or if I wanted to change.
Maybe bc its a TICK chart, (even though an overlayed ES to ES study) that made a unintended conversion?

The inherited setting was using the Price Display Format on the destination chart.
