I have installed SC to a 17.3" hi res (3840 x 2160) laptop (new mobile trading unit) and it looks and works great with the exception of the trade window. It is too large. The display settings automatically adjust in regard to text, apps and some other features, to remain proportionate with the hi res environment (increased by 350%). Most items look very good, neither appearing too large or too small in proportion to the chart. For instance, TVW, or alternatively the CTV, blend into the hi res environment perfectly. The single item (on my chart) that does not properly scale is the trade window. It is disproportionately large, taking up too much screen space. I have searched in Help for a way to reduce its size, but haven't found a solution. Is there anything that can be done on SC's end, or suggestion(s) you might have? |

The first thing to do is to go to the chart and select Chart >> Reset Child Windows to see if that makes any difference. Also, refer to: Graphics Settings: Adjusting Size of Dialog Windows This is one of the consequences of high resolution displays. They have a lot of negative side effects. While they may seem good, this is one of the problems with them. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users.
