Hello, I currently export all my spreadsheet data into Excel for further statistical analysis and research. In light of the discontinued support of Excel functionality sometime in 2017 I am looking for alternatives. Is trying write a program in C++ to do all the number crunching a practical alternative or am I completely off the mark there with what C++ is used for within Sierra? Any advice or direction would be greatly appreciated. Thanks |

Have you considered copying and pasting your data from "Sierra Spreadsheet" into Excel and then doing the number crunching in Excel?

@787778 Yes, I have. I will do this if needed, but I am looking to avoid this as it has led to errors in the past. |

There are no plans now to remove Excel support. This will not happen in 2017. Is trying write a program in C++ to do all the number crunching a practical alternative Yes this can be a practical alternative but we do not know exactly what you are doing.
