Hi, I use DTN IQ and I need accurate volume tick data which works for almost 2 years worth of data but sometimes I need more volume data than that and so I bring up the historical chart which goes back much further but the volume profile data is not precise. I selected DTNIQ for historical data and tried the SC historical data but neither are very precise. What should I do?

To our knowledge DTN provides 120 days of tick data. Beyond that they have Minute data. Sierra Chart will combine both together to give you the maximum amount of history. Follow the instructions here for tick by tick data configuration: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/doc_TickbyTickDataConfiguration.php Follow through the instructions in help topic 42.1 here: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/helpdetails42.html#h42.1 And be aware of the IQ Feed tick data limitation during market hours: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/DTNIQFeed.html#TickLimitMarketHours Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
