Alert emails to SMS at Cricket Wireless not working

I'm attempting to set up my Cricket Wireless phone to received emailed SMS alerts. The alerts email address field is set to ##########@sms.cricket.com and the Alerts log shows the emails are going out, but they are not being received on my phone. Is something showing up in your service logs regarding the issue? Thank you |

This is what we determined: actual domain used is sms.mycricket.com, and the connection to them is timing out.

Posting a solution in case someone else has the problem. There are various non-working addresses that come up in a Google search for a Cricket Wireless SMS/MMS email gateway. ##########@mms.cricketwireless.net is one that does work. |
