Hi, I followed the instruction to my best ability but I have a problem loading my charts, it opens my live and sim account that is OK and I can open my Chartbook menu put it only has on file in there the chartbook Example nothing else and I have many I must be missing some setting because almost everything is greyed out and I copied all the files as per instructions and that is the same in live and sim.FS - OC - DTS is not greyed out and I could with FS start all over again but that would take forever.

Thanks for your help

The Chartbooks need to be copied from the C:\SierraChart\Data folder on your desktop computer to the very same folder on the laptop computer.

These files have a Cht file extension.

Once they are copied over, you will see them on the laptop computer when you select File >> Open Chartbook.

Hello again, I guess I'm in trouble nothing is easy this days, I don't have a C:\SierraChart\Data file under my Sierra Chart folder I have Sierra Chart file with emblem and 11,910KB data and no cht file extension I have Sierra Chart File Downloader with 4,285KB Sierra Chart Studies.dll 1,201KB and icudt52.dll 22,957KB & icuin52.dll 1.757KB & icuuc52.dll 1,272KB & Qt5CCore.dll 4,016KB & GlobalSymbolSettings 3,904KB and that is it with any KB amounts on it I assume that C:\SierraChart\Data file must be bigger I have no idea where I could find that file it is not in my Program File (x86)I hope you can figure out what to do.
Thanks

We can help you with this using a remote assistance session assuming the Chartbook files are accessible on the laptop computer.

There is an extra cost for this. At USD.65 per minute. It should just take us about 10 minutes.

If you want to proceed, make sure your current telephone number is here:
https://www.sierrachart.com/UserControlPanel.php?page=ManageAccountInfo

And then respond back here when you verified that.

Hi Max
I was sure I'm finished for the year with your support system now I find myself in the same boat as before I watched you transfer the files but I cannot find the Cht files on my desktop to copy on to a memory stick everything went so fast I cannot remember how you did it to dumb I guess I made some entries to chartbook and tried to transfer them to my laptop but I'm stuck again there must be an easy way even for a old guy like me to do that.
