i have attached a picture of the indicator not calculating the "zag" on a large move. at 8:45, on the pullback i am not getting a "zag" or number generated. if you view the picture toward the left, all small moves in short timeframes are calculated so why not the portion circled in black? would appreciate your insight! |

We will need to get the Chartbook with a single chart containing the study to be able to see the exact settings of the zig zag study. Here are the instructions to provide it: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/PostingInformation.php#ProvidingChartbookSingleChart Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Are you referring to this highlighted location: http://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=1482404439495.png This makes sense according to the description: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/TechnicalStudiesReference.html#ZigzagCalculationMode2 Read through description and specifically note the application of the Number of Bars Required for Reversal Input.
