I am currently entering my trades using the DOM, where I right click on the Bid price ladder above the last to put in a Buy Stop order Buy Stop Order to be triggered at a specific price. How do I change this to rather be a Stop Limit order by right clicking on Bid price ladder above the last. If I want to enter on exactly the same price where I clicked on the ladder (trigger price=limit price), where do I set that? Under "Set" on my DOM, what should I set the Primary Order to and what should the Attached Order be (see attachment where it shows 4 and 4). I do not understand what Primary order is and what Attached Order is in the Stop-Limit Order Limit Offset box context - see attachment |

This is explained in detail at step 6 here: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/ChartTrading.html#ChartDOM You will want to set Set >> Stop-Limit Order Limit Offset >> Primary Orders to 0. I understand that the stop limit offset can be changed in the "Set" tab of trade window. It defaults to 4 ticks. I would like to change the default to 0 at the global level, to avoid changing it manually on every trade window. Is this possible?

There is no global setting for this. However, you can duplicate a chart which also includes the Trade Window for the chart, to use the existing settings. Refer to: Using Chart Templates There is also Trade Window linking: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/ChartSettings.html#LinkNumber Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
