Hi, is there a study where I can put text that overlay's on my chart which doesn't move along with the chart and looking at the divergence study I can get the Angle of the price and Angle of the MACD for example display in a region but I can't get the signals to display to show when the divergence occur, default settings the difference is in orange text with 10 pt font. I don't see it anywhere in my chart. Cheers |

You need to use the Stationary Text Drawing Tool: Chart Drawing Tools: Type Text | Stationary Text First refer to the documentation for the Divergence Detector study here: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/TechnicalStudiesReference.html#s382 If you still need help follow the instructions here to provide a Chartbook containing a single chart which uses the Divergence study, so we can understand what you are doing: Support Board Posting Information: Providing Chartbook with Only a Single Chart Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. I created two new charts to see if it's the other indicators that's interfering with the study So first chart I created brand new with only price and a MACD perfect I see it, then I switch symbols to what I normally would like to trade now it's gone. |

You need to look at the resulting angles in the Chart Values window and adjust the Divergence Threshold in Degrees Inputs appropriately. This is something you need to understand about the study and work through on your side. Refer to the study documentation for more information.
