Hi, I often have an attached regular stop on a position However, I may see that the market begins to trend, and then decide I want to change that regular stop into a trailing stop. Is it possible to modify the type of attached stop, once it is already active ? If not, is there a way to attach a new type of stop to a live position ? |

You need to cancel the existing Stop order and then just simply submit a new Trailing Stop order: Order Types: Trailing Stop Or cancel both the Target and Stop order if you are using both of those and then use the Send Attached Orders order type to send new Attached Orders where the stop is a Trailing Stop: Order Types: Send Attached Orders - Position/Price Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
