Maybe this is not a bug, but it seems strange. I added an old custom study to ESZ6 that failed. Debugging into it I found that sc.CurrencyValuePerTick was 0.00 (even though sc.TickSize was 0.25). I "fixed" it by doing Apply Global Symbol Settings. At the bottom of the "Edit Global Symbol Settings" dialog box, there is a checkbox for "Use Symbol Settings in New Instances When Started". I couldn't find documentation for that checkbox, and perhaps that is related to my problem. But my problem was on a primary instance, and perhaps the checkbox refers to sub-instances; I don't know. That option is now documented here: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/GlobalSymbolSettings.php#SymbolSettingsControls That setting is unrelated to what you are describing. Most likely at the time the chart was created Currency Value per Tick was not defined for the symbol. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
