Hello, I opened a new account with a second broker and I realised today that my trade statistics were not recording with the credentials from this broker because I was trading with the Sim1 account selected in the DOM. I was worried because I was trading live and not on the simulation mode, but the trades were made on Sim1 in the DOM, and were not recorded. Then I selected the brokers account in the DOM and then the trades started to be recorded and live trading was working properly. I want to know if trading live with the platform with Sim1 account selected in the DOM hold you back in simulation mode, and it's similar to trading with simulation mode ON, or it's different, and if so, what is different ? Thanks Regards |

It is simply impossible to be trading with the Sim1 account unless Trade Simulation Mode is enabled. You would not even see that account listed unless you are using another instance of Sierra Chart in which case the orders would get rejected if Trade Simulation Mode was disabled in the main instance.
