Example, For now , the spot month is CLZ6. I want to add other chart for next contract CLF7. The motive is to see if backadation or contango happen between spot CLZ6 and next contract CLF7. But now, if change 1 chart, all other charts will follow suit. How can I have these 2 charts with different xpiry together? |

Open a new chart for CLF7. And then use the Overlay study to overlay it on the other chart: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/TechnicalStudiesReference.html#s100 Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Open new chart CLF7 ..use insert overlay bar, overlay single line and study/price overlay in new chart CLF7 and clicked setting to overlay CLZ6 in the new chart..succesful but CLZ6 is stagnant and price location distorted. then use overlay non-sync ,, now the chart price CLZ6 is MOVING IF located in zone 2 , but the location of price CLZ6 ( as line chart for aeasy ref) is distorted when setting in region 1, same with CLF7 (scale range is auto) ..att file |

The study you want to use is Overlay (Bar). You do not need to use the other studies. The way to do this is to open a new chart for CLZ6 and overlay the CLF7 symbol since the CLZ6 trades more frequently. So the chart is always going to have corresponding bars for the CLF7 overlay.
