I am looking to use Sierra Chart to calculate and alert me to the following conditions: 1. Volume (using a given time period, e.g., on a 5 min chart) is the Greatest it has been in X number of time periods (example: "the Highest Volume in 250 time periods has just occurred") 2. Volume (using a given time period, e.g., on a 5 min chart) is Above a Specific Level (example: "a Volume greater than 15,000 has just occurred") Doable? |

1. The Relative Volume study can help with this: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/TechnicalStudiesReference.html#s356 2. This can be done just simply by using a Simple Alert Formula which refers to volume. For alerts, refer to this page: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/StudyChartAlertsAndScanning.php Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
