User Account Join Date: Jun 2012 Posts: 7 Default Using Tradestation data feed Hi, Is there any way to use Tradestation data feed on Sierra Chart. NinjaTrader has a way to do this by adding a strategy on a Tradestation chart and send the bars' values over: http://www.ninjatrader.com/Connectio...nnection-Guide I am wondering if there is some way or third party product to do this. I am new to this. Please give as many pointers as you can. I can write a simple Tradestation strategy to capture the open, high, low, close, volume on a chart during change and call some DLL... But I am not sure what to call? how do I pipe it to the Sierra Chart and make the CHART update in real time? Is there a Sierra programming interface I can look at for updaing a Sierra Chart's symbol? Thank you for your help. Was there any more info on this on how the error was fixed , anyone got this working ? thanks |

To do this, requires creating a DTC Protocol Server which interfaces with Tradestation and then Sierra Chart will connect to it as a client. ok, i see that , but is anyone got an example of trade station hook in and working ? i tried it but no real idea if its working , other than the data wont load live ? can anyone verify or do you have example of the settings etc that work, thanks. being generic inst really helping , specific information ( technical help) |

The answer is, this is not supported. It is a very very difficult effort to make it work. It is totally outside the scope of our support.
