Any idea what my charts in my chartbook keep loading the same contract over and over again? Generally speaking I have a chart book which has become unusable as it is so slow, but not sure what is causing the issue as it slows everything down and freezes the whole of SC. How can I debug to know? I am not even connected to the datafeed and still, all sheets keeping reloading again and again the last contract. Any help much appreciated, thank you. We are not sure why it is exactly happening but we are fairly certain in your case it is happening because there is a particular study on chart causing this to happen. ok tbut it seems to be doing it on ALL chart within the chartbook, not on only one in particular, and because it keeps loading up, I can't access the studies list, and it won't let me...In fact if I have several chartbooks open, and if I switcj to a different one, the other one seems to be also experiencing freezing and slowness because of the one that causes problem..

it stops reloading, but still some "flashes" at times and I need to press 10 times or so on OK or APPLY for things to happen, but at least the reload of the contracts has stopped. Is this a mode I can stayon permanently?

We see no reason why you should be clicking 10 times on a button. Once is enough. If Sierra Chart is freezing at times, refer to help topic 30: High CPU Usage | Inactive User Interface | Poor Performance | Long Time to Load Chart Data | Charts Reloading Often Check the Message Log to see if there any messages indicating charts are being reloaded . me neither, but unless I showed you a video, it is difficult to see what I mean. I click on Studies, then add a study, and click OK and I get an hour glass, screzen flashed and I need to hit OK several times before it eventually applies the study. Strange.

This is because the study is using a lot of CPU time.
