Hi,

I use sc.datafile to cycle through my watchlist symbols in order to trigger alerts from a spreadsheet alerts study. I am finding that the Alert Manager ALWAYS records the correct symbol in the "source" column of the alert manager but when I click on the "go to chart" button I get sent to the incorrect symbol which is almost always the symbol AFTER the symbol which triggered the alert. This seems to me to be an issue between when the symbol gets changed by sc.datafile (after it returns)and when the studies where actually calculated. Can you please look into changing the alert manger so that the "go to chart" button uses the indexing of the "source" symbol column of the alert manger which is consistently correct? This should be a simple change?

We are looking into this now.

We should be able to solve this.

It is not a problem at the Alert Manager. It has to do with what happens when ACSIL changes the data file.

Hi,

Can you provide an update on this; was this resolved and included in a pre-release?

We did implement a change that should resolve it but it was not tested. Update to the current version and let us know if it is resolved.
