Good morning. I am leaving my computer on all week (5 days) and turning it off on Friday at about 17:00:00 - end of trading week. I turn my computer on again about 14:00:00 on Sunday thereby ready to trade the new week. I am using an automated system therefore the continuous 5 day trading week. I noticed yesterday (Sunday 14:00:00) that the data in the "Opne PL" and "Closed PL" and "Daily Net PL" was not the same data as was in these boxes on Friday before at 17:00:00. Is there a reason for this, should I be leaving my computer on at all times? My second question is what is your opinion of using "Bracket Trader" as a third party software between Sierra Charts and Interactive Brokers. I will be using Sierra Charts to trade with IB becuase of the so-so charts in IB, but I have heard that it would be a good idea to use a third party for tracking and making trades. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.

There are several different reasons as to why those Profit/Loss numbers could change. There could be less historical fill data available after you restarted. The Daily Net Profit/Loss will change because you have entered a new day. You also need to understand the Simulation Fills Source setting: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/doc_TradeMenu.html#SimulationFillsSource For trading we really recommend using Sierra Chart: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/doc_Trading.html Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
