Hi, I tried to open future Indices data/chart that shown on the Chart Setting window but there are unavailable (blank chart), for example: Kospi 200 (Korea), SPI 200 (Australia), Nikkei 225 (Japan). Many future indices I can open smoothly: ES, YM, NQ, DAX, FESX, FTSE. What should I do to solve the problem? Thanks. |

For these markets, we recommend using the service named "Sierra Chart Historical Data". Please provide us the very specific symbols you are using. Are they listed in File >> Find Symbol? These are blank charts: KSU13 (Korea), APU13 (Australia), TIU13 (Taiwan), SNU13 (Canada). The database is SC Historical Data and all of them are on the symbol list at Chart Setting window. I need continuous data without any adjustment at all between contracts. I am doing research on day trading and nothing relates between days. How to construct this data? Either Method 1 or Method 2 of continuous futures doesn't matter as long as no adjustment at all. Thank you. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2013-07-28 17:46:11

We tested the first 2 of the symbols and we were able to get Historical charts. The symbols are only going to have Historical Daily data. Intraday data is not supported for these specific symbols with the Sierra Chart Historical Data service. For a Historical Daily continuous chart, replace the last 3 characters with a #. For example AP#. The continuous futures contract data is not back adjusted. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users.
