We are training 5 people on how to trade futures. Shortly they will need a Simulator each to put into practice what we teach. We would need real-time data and to use both Sierra trading and Sierra charts. They will need this on CME and Eurex for a period of 50 days. They can't learn on a live account. Can you accommodate this? Regards Mark |

We of course would be happy to get this business. But because of exchange rules it is always a very difficult thing to achieve. More than likely impossible. The CME is the real problem! And neither the CME or EUREX offers a trial for 50 days. So it is pointless to ask us for that. Refer to the information on this page: Is Historical and Real-time Futures Data Included? The easiest thing that we would recommend is for you to contact one of the trading platform services we work with like CQG: CQG Trading Platform Service Sierra Chart does support CQG. We also have a new service through the Cunningham Trading Systems which uses the Sierra Chart data feed: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/CTS_T4.php#SetupInstructionsForAdvancedLowCostConnectionModel And we are going to be offering a lower price for the data feed of 25 USD next month with a 10 symbol limit. If I find an alternative for 20 days can they get a 30 day real-time trial with you before going live?

Not directly from us. We definitely cannot do anything free like this. We have to pay for the data feed ourselves. Possibly we could do a price of 40 USD for the first month but that would be the best. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. We apologize for the delay. We need time to consider this. We do not have an immediate answer. When they begin live trading, through what broker or clearing firm will they be using? We cannot provide streaming delayed data for free, but we could provide data that updates every 10-15 minutes. We could do this for up to 50 days under an agreement. Through Stage 5 I have organised the required Demo using CQG. What I need now is to organise the Charting using Sierra Charts. Our trainees will initially need the charts for 6 weeks while they are on the Demo account. After that period I would expect them to look to go live. They will need Eurex Access and CME. They are not professional. Including any free data period can you tell me how much it will cost for Eurex and for CME? What will Sierra charge for this 6 weeks while they are using the Demo account via Stage5? I will pass on this information and they can deal with you directly. Thanks |

Is CQG going to provide CME and EUREX data for six weeks? If so, that is in violation of exchange rules. We would be surprised if they were doing that. It does not matter to us, but you need to verify that. We can provide a six-week trial of Sierra Chart assuming a user becomes a paid user after. I didn't say we were getting free data for 6 weeks and not sure why thats your focus while ignoring my question. I have arranged our CQG but now I need charts. I note that you can provide the 6 week trial of your Sierra Charting platform. I am just trying to place customers in front of you and can't guarantee what they do once they finish with our training services. Can you tell me what the data fees will be for non-professionals for the 6 weeks including any exchange free time that may be on offer. |

What this tells us is that the CQG is going to provide the real-time data for CME and EUREX for six weeks or for four weeks. Can you tell me what the data fees will be for non-professionals for the 6 weeks including any exchange free time that may be on offer. There is no cost from us if the data is coming from CQG.Anyway, we can provide you a six-week trial of Sierra Chart with historical data. Our understanding is the real-time data will come from CQG. At this point we need precise information what you will be getting from CQG but typically this is going to be the real-time data and a simulation environment for trading. Yes double check with them. But the CQG trial is going to be a limited set of symbols and a maximum of four weeks.
