Using many charts, some attached some detached. I scroll to my start time for playback on one of my detached charts. I then start playback and expect it to start at the time shown at the right edge. It instead, moves to the last data available. What is needed to start at a specific time? |

Problem better defined now, The selected chart for starting replay is a detached chart (fails to work). If I change it to attached, all works correctly. I hope to use replay on detached or attached charts. Using Ver #1460 Regards |

This does not make any technical sense. Whether a chart is attached are detached, has zero effect on the chart replay. We know this with certainty. We also verified it. Although the verification would never have been necessary because we know how this works. Just in case there is as timestamp problem re-download the data in the chart with Edit >>Delete All Data and Download Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. I accept that this cannot happen. But it means that I am not entering commands correctly. I have reloaded price data. I am onbly trying to playback a few hours of NQ data. I have two computers with different SC and different data feeds where this is occuring. What I now see as the fix/problem is that of chart selection. With the detached chart that I am using as the intended playback chart I am selecting it by clicking on it (to select it), then I go to the Main chartbook menu and click RPL. This does not work. But if I instead use the "detached chart" local menu and click "Chart/Replay chart" It will work fine so far as I can tell. So the problem is that the Main Menu for the group of charts fails to start the Playback from the selected chart. mAYBE sc INTENDED THIS , But I did not understand that all Playbacks must be started only from the local chart menu if the chart is detached. When a chart is detached, it is necessary that the Replay Chart window be opened through the detached chart menu or its Control Bar because the replay window is going to start the replay on the currently active chart window.
