Using Sierra to trade through Interactive Brokers

I want to use Sierra Charts to trade my IB account. 1) Is it necessary to have the IB trader workstation running while I use my IB credentials to log into Sierra? 2) What about if I use Sierra real time data and use it to trade through IB...do I need to run the IB trader workstation? |

I was able to get the IB gateway up and running and successfully connect sierra charts to it. I then used the sierra dome to execute a trade and got my fills both in and out of the trade but the pnl and open pnl on the dome have remained at zero both during and after the trade. Any guidance on this? |

The only reason the Open Profit/Loss will be zero is if the Position Average Price is 0. Problem solved...2 accounts were linked and the wrong account number was chosen from the account list on the dome drop down menu. thank you! Date Time Of Last Edit: 2016-10-03 14:44:03
