How to flatten without canceling working orders for new trades?

Is there a way to flatten a position via the TW and cancel only the relevant child orders (SL and target)? I don't want Sierra to cancel other parent orders I have placed for new pending trades that have nothing to do with the current one, I then have to input then from scratch again. Many times there is simply no time for this, or mistakes are made. If this is not supported, I strongly believe it should be. |

What we could do is if you have enabled Menu >> Only Orders from Chart on the Trade Window, then the canceling of orders will only apply to orders originating from that particular chart.

That would mean that I would need a different chart for every set of orders I input, which is hugely impractical, a nightmare. I input all my orders from one chart. Help me understand, is what in asking technically difficult to implement? |

We could add a new Trade Window option that will cause only the Attached Orders that are not in a pending state to be canceled with the Flatten and Reverse commands.

Sounds great, not sure how that will work with IB orders. Aren't they all considered working, even the child orders of parent orders that have yet to fill? |

This will be true in the case of when using server-side bracket orders. Otherwise, there will not be a problem. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. I'm using server side orders. Btw this also affects "hide pending attached orders from chart" (don't remember the exact phrasing), they always show. |

Therefore, the setting would not help in your case.
