Hi, After i have established a set of alerts i would like to reffer to them in a new alert. meaning , i would like to combine the true result of few alert into one alert. like an "IF" sentence of alerts. How do you advice to implemnt this? Thanks, A.L |

Hi and thanks, I am not i underestood you reply. i am not looking to combine and/or in one long alert sentence, but to establish new alert sentence that reffers to already created alerts sentence. otherwise the alerts sentence will be too long to edit or understand. for ex: NEW COLOR BAR ALERT×£ AND (COLOR BAR ALERT: 163 , COLOR BAR ALERTS: 154, COLOR BAR ALERTS 162) I WISH ALL OF THAT COLOR ALERTS SENTENCE WILL BE TRUE AT ONCE AND THAN I WILL GET A NOTICE ON THE CHART |

You cannot do it like this. You need to use the Spreadsheet System/Alert study and put all the formulas on a Sheet in the formula columns. Actually, as we think about, it is possible to make reference to more than one Color Bar Based on Alert Condition study with their own Alert Condition Formulas in another Color Bar Based on Alert Condition study formula. For example, if those other studies have IDs 1, 2 and 3 you could use this Simple Alert formula: AND(ID1.SG1, ID2.SG1, ID3.SG1) You would enter this on a fourth Color Bar Based on Alert Condition study.
