I have scaling set to constant range = 20.60 and keep last bar visible within view = 2 ticks. It seems to keep the last in the center. I have tried to take Chart trading off and/or remove Chart DOM as well. screen cap attached. TIA for your time John |

We need to understand this better. Under what conditions does this happen: It seems to keep the last in the center.

I am not sure what other info you are looking for. I will allow you to remote into my system if you would like. I have changed the scale to automatic and reset scale and that configuration works. Also, when the scale setting is to constant, as I scroll back in the chart bars, it does not adjust the scale correctly. John |

The question is, how do you expect it should work? And exactly what is happening and under what conditions? Also, when the scale setting is to constant, as I scroll back in the chart bars, it does not adjust the scale correctly.
You need to enable this option:http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/Scaling.html#ConstRangeReCenterChartScroll Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. How do I expect it to work? the same way as Auto does. As I scroll back in a chart, I expect the bars that are visible left to right to be able to be seen as long as they are within the constant range, in my case 20 points, not past the top or bottom of the scale. Also, when I press the END key to get to the last / current bar in real time, I do not expect it to always put that price in the middle of the scale vertically. I have set the # of ticks from edge to 2 on a constant range scale mode with the constant range to 20.0. I'm not trying to be difficult, what other details are you looking for? John |

This is not what that setting does. You need to set the Scale Range to Automatic. From an automatic scale you can then use Interactive Scaling to make the necessary changes that you need to: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/Scaling.html#InteractiveScaling Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
