Hi Sierra, I hope you can resolve the following issue I continuously face in some of my charts. I like to select certain areas on my markets to draw volume profile, however, in some of them (GBPAUD for instance), every time i draw one, it takes at least 5m (ridiculous) as chart stuck... see here https://gyazo.com/1542c18a869a3d7eed0c9e494fb31b03 After that long, then i get the result i want ... see here https://gyazo.com/102b0e71a99b181baa8c86426c8ee5e1 ... Ironically, with other markets, such as AUDUSD, using the exact same template and number of days loaded, it takes just 1 sec (as one would expect).... How can i address this issue? Tx! |

This subject is covered in help topic 30.23: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/helpdetails30.html#h30.23 You will need to increase the Volume at Price multiplier. It should be at least 10 or you may need to increase it to 100 or 500 with this kind of extreme problem. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. You can also use the high performance GomMPPro study (it's commercial), it was very heavily optimized for drawing speed and is much faster then the VbP study. It is specially efficient on instruments with a low tick size. Please have a look at the following screen cap, VbP rendering 70ms, GomMP 15ms. You can check if for free for 20 days on www.gomicators.com |
